FBI improperly searched foreign intelligence data for information on Jan. 6 Capitol attack and George Floyd protests.
More than a dozen searches were performed on raw foreign intelligence data related to Capitol rioters.
133 people arrested in the aftermath of George Floyd protests were also searched for in the database.
Revelations come from heavily redacted opinion of the secret Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court.
FBI officials also ran searches on US defense contractors and holders of security clearances through the foreign intelligence database.
